Thomas Edison was a wealthy man credited with many groundbreaking inventions such as the light-bulb and the phonograph. He began a
laboratory in 1876 and proceed to develop machines that could record sound and emit light, among other things. While he wasn’t the only one doing groundbreaking work in his field, Edison is credited as one of the most successful. |
