Walter Disney was an American motion-picture and television producer. He was considered an iconic figure in the Twentieth Century media and entertainment industry, helping to produce many films. He and his brother Roy co-founded Walt Disney Productions. He worked with a lot of animation and created a lot characters such as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Mickey Mouse. In 1928, Steamboat Willie, the third Mickey Mouse cartoon equipped with voices and music and it became a huge sensation because it was one of the first cartoons to ever be produced for that long with voices and music. Mickey Mouse became more popular and caused Disney to create more characters, such as Minnie and Donald Duck.
