Dr. Temple Grandin is a revolutionary animal behavioral scientist and autism advocate. In her work with animal behavior, she has changed the way that half of US cattle processing warehouses are run by decreasing the amount of fear and pain felt by the animals. Also as a woman with autism herself, she provided unprecedented understanding into the treatment and mindset of the autism spectrum on a large scale. Her advocacy became a vital part of the modern understanding of how to handle both animals and the growing population of people on the autism spectrum.
