Kristallnacht, also known as the “Night of Broken Glass” was a pogrom against Jews throughout Nazi Germany on November 9-10, 1938. SA forces walked the streets destroying and vandalizing any Jewish owned businesses, homes, schools, hospitals, or synagogues. Kristallnacht was just part of the economic and political persecution of Jews, which would eventually result in Hitler’s Final Solution and the Holocaust.
