Psycho (1960) is considered by many to be Alfred Hitchcock’s masterpiece and the forerunner for all modern suspense horror films of today. As well as being a groundbreaking thriller, the film also included scenes that had rarely or never been included before in America film, such as a flushing toilet and the protagonist scantily clothed in the opening scene. Psycho broke barriers in film conventions of the time and paved the way for future horror films.
